Unusual Jorg 1661

This Jorg 1661 has the same markings as the later ones ("JÖRG-Nr. 1661", "CHROM-VANADIUM", and a "7" in a circle), but is longer (270mm), has a thicker handle (28-29mm), and there is a 16mm diameter metal area on the end of the handle. The most unusual aspect of this Jorg 1661 is the green tinted transparent varnish on the handle. It is absolutely original - the same finish can be found under the bezel.

Was this type found in early Pre-A tool kits? I don't know, but I'd like to find out!
